Basic Organization of the Presidency Organs and the Ministries Ones (Law nº 13.844, from June 18, 2020) - 4096
Law nº 13.844 refers to the “Basic Organization of the Presidency Organs and the Ministries”, besides assigning to GSI the competence of: “planning, coordinate and supervise the activity of information security in the sphere of the federal public administration”. So, GSI monitors possible institutional instabilities in this area, deals with federal intelligence and advices the Presidency about military and security subjects.
