Institutional Security Office (GSI) - 3971
Based on Provisional Measure (MP) No. 1,911-10, the Institutional Security Office (GSI) is the main advisory organ at the federal level for military and security issues (including the cyber area). Until 09/23/1999, it was called “Casa Militar” but was recreated as GSI in 05/12/2016 (MP nº 726). Among its organizational structure are the Information Security Department (DSI), the Systems Coordination Secretariat (SCS), the Defense and National Security Affairs Secretariat (SADSN) and the Information Security Management Committee (GSI).
